The 2016-17 #PBCHOOPS Coach of the Year is Lorenzo Hands of Palm Beach Lakes High School. Coach Hands led the Rams to the FHSAA Class 8A state Final 4, finishing 24- and the #1 ranked #PBCHOOPS Top 5 to end the season.

The year was highlighted by several big victories for the Rams, including a playoff road victory over Blanche Ely to advance to the 8A Regional semifinal.
