Day 1 Wrap Up - Florida PRO "The Warm Up" 4/6/19

Coming into "The Warmup" there were plenty of unknowns, after Day 1 quite a few players that stepped up. Here are some Saturday's top performers:

This is actually the 16U EYBL squad and they are tough. The squad features c/o 2022 twins Amen and Ausar Thompson along with a quartet of Palm Beach County talent from the c/o 2021. Justin Roseme, Christopher Walker, Jason Simpson and Mickeal Ashmore.

2019 Florida PRO "The Warmup" Preview

The NCAA made major changes to the recruiting calendar and the evaluation process as a whole this past fall. Gone is the second evaluation period in April, leaving only one spring weekend for high school players and travel teams to play in front of college coaches, April 26-28, 2019. Now more than ever where teams choose to play during the time leading up to the live period is extremely important. Will they choose to trophy chase, playing in tournaments with very little competition and no media exposure?

DISCUSSION: Broward Dominance at State

Now it seems to me if we go back and look at state title's broward has dominated for the past 20 or so years when there teams get to state (link https://www.fhsaa.org/sports/basketball-boys/archives), "They Seal the Deal".

This years state championship is going according to the same script. So why the dominance? When the other South Florida counties get there, it becomes that much harder, let's take a look:
