There is a reason Tony Perkins Florida Basketball Bulletin "Coming for that #1 Spot Showcase" is in it's 17th year. The answer? Highly competitive, talent filled events that truly don't care about if a prospect is a blue chip headed to a traditional collegiate powerhouse or a local player just trying to make a name for themselves. High School campers were broken up into 2 groups lower 9th/10th (c/o 2024/2023) and 11th/12th (c/o 2022/2021). We start the recap with the 2021's and 2022's which also included a select group of 2023's:
2020 has been tough all around, that goes for sports and non-sports related activities. Still, "the show must go on" and a few Palm Beach County high school players had the opportunity to get out and play in some meaningful competition during the late summer months. Fair or not, players that performed were able to garner looks from college coaches, while others raised their respective profiles headed into the "Fall League and Showcase" season.

Last July the inaugural #PBCHOOPS Summer Championship was born with a mission to bring together South Florida's best travel teams in an end of Summer event. Due to pandemic related issues a large tournament was not possible this summer, instead the event was re-branded into a 4 team Showcase event focusing primarily on Palm Beach County talent. The talent level this year was high once again but also was filled with lesser known prospects looking to increase their stock. Here's a look at the top performers:
